Last year, JioPhone was being given by the company with an offer on Diwali last year for only 699 rupees and buyers are getting the benefit of this offer so far. Apart from increasing the price, a recharge of Rs 125 can also be made mandatory along with buying it. That is, buyers will have to pay Rs 1,124 while purchasing JioPhone. The company may soon share the official statement attached to it. Till now, buyers did not have to pay a security deposit of Rs 1,500 and by buying a new JioPhone for Rs 699, the user could recharge with a tariff plan of Rs 99 or more.

On behalf of the company, it was said that the customer will also get Rs 299 back on returning it within three years of purchasing the JioPhone. The company was also providing an additional data pack of Rs 99 with the phone and for this, buyers had to get monthly recharge. That is, the company was offering benefits of about Rs 1,500, which will no longer be available to buyers. However, the company can also bring new benefits with this feature phone at a new price.
