
Maruti Suzuki has increased the prices of all non-cargo variants of its van Eeco. Maruti Suzuki has added passenger airbags to its van Eco. The price of Maruti Eeco has been increased by Rs 8,000. This increase in the price of Eeco has become effective from 30 November 2021.
Echo’s starting price is Rs 4.3 lakh
“Due to the introduction of passenger airbags in the Eeco, the company has increased the prices of all its non-cargo variants by Rs 8,000 with effect from November 30, 2021,” Maruti Suzuki said in a statement on Tuesday. Maruti Suzuki Eeco comes in 3 cargo variants with four passenger and one ambulance variant. The price of this Maruti Suzuki van starts from Rs 4.3 Lakh and goes up to Rs 7.29 Lakh. These are the ex-showroom prices of Maruti Eeco in Delhi.

Many safety features have been added to the cars
The central government had made passenger side airbags mandatory for all cars in March this year. All new cars were to comply with this rule from 1 April 2021. At the same time, the existing models available for sale had to fulfill this order by 31 August 2021. In the recent past, dual airbags, ABS, rear parking sensors, seatbelt reminders and high-speed alert system have been added to the list of essential safety features in cars.
