According to the report, the market share of Alto stood at 19.66 per cent in 10 years, which is the highest. Maruti Suzuki Dzire ranked second, with a market share of 14.93 percent. Similarly, the third and fourth positions are Maruti Suzuki Swift and Wagon R, which have a market share of 14.31% and 12.22% respectively. At number five is the Hyundai i20 hatchback, with a total market share of 12.22 percent.

Maruti Alto Price and Specifications
Maruti Suzuki Alto is an affordable hatchback car. Its price starts from Rs 3.15 lakh and goes up to Rs 4.82 lakh. The vehicle gets a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine, which generates 84bhp power and 113Nm torque. Apart from the petrol engine, it also comes in CNG option. It gives a mileage of 22.05kmpl in petrol and 31.59kmpl with CNG.
