America’s leading automaker Ford has today launched its famous hatchback Ford Figo with a new automatic transmission gearbox in the Indian market. Adorned with an attractive look and strong engine capacity, the starting price of this car has been fixed at Rs 7.75 lakh (ex-showroom).

The company has introduced this automatic variant with two trims Titanium and Titanium Plus of Ford Figo. Its Titanium variant costs Rs 7.75 lakh and Titanium Plus variant costs Rs 8.20 lakh. In this car, the company has used 1.2 liter capacity TiVCT petrol engine which comes with 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. This engine generates power of 96PS and torque of 119Nm.

Ford claims that this car is the best combination of power and performance. It has been given the same gearbox which is seen in the Ford EcoSport SUV. It also has a special sport mode that the youth will love very much, it makes the driving experience even better. The company claims that this car will give mileage of up to 16 kmpl.

The Figo hatchback comes with a standard warranty of 3 years or 100,000 km. The car gets a service interval of up to 10,000 kms as compared to 5,000 kms of other competing models. The company says that customers will have to spend Rs 1,313 for the first year for scheduled services of this car while Rs 4,097 for 100,000 km or 10 years of service.
