Force Motors is all set to launch the next generation model of its famous SUV Gurkha in the domestic market. The company introduced this SUV during the last Auto Expo. With an attractive look, powerful engine and strong performance, this SUV will compete with Mahindra Thar. Recently the company has also released its teaser.

Force Motors has posted the new teaser of this SUV on its official Twitter handle. In this new SUV, the company is also offering molded floor mats to reduce the noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) level. The company claims that as much as the exterior design of this SUV is attractive, its interior will also be comfortable.

This SUV largely matches the concept model introduced at the last Auto Expo. In this, sporty looking LED daytime running lights have been given with rounded shape headlights. Apart from this, the new design front bumper, taillights and grille have also been given. You also get a new tailgate and mounted spare wheel.

It is being told in media reports that the company can offer it in two body shapes. Including two-door and five-door. A captain seat can also be given in the second row of the new Force Gurkha. At the same time, side facing seats will be given in the back row. As far as the engine is concerned, it will be given a diesel engine of 2.6 liters capacity, which generates power of 89 bhp and torque of 260 Nm. This engine comes with a 5 speed gearbox.

Talking about the engine of Mahindra Thar, it has a diesel engine of 2.2 liter capacity which generates 130 hp power and 300 Nm torque. Although it is difficult to say anything about the price of Force Gurkha before the launch, but it is believed that the company can launch it between Rs 10 to 12 lakhs. Its official launch dates are yet to be announced.
