The country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki is preparing to introduce a new facelift model of its premium hatchback car Maruti Baleno in the domestic market. This car was first launched by the company in the year 2015, and since then this car has been the best seller of its segment.
Recently its new facelift model has been spotted during testing. From the exterior to the interior of this car, many major changes are being seen, which make it different from the current model. Going by the spy images, it may also get a new tailgate with an integrated spoiler, raked front windshield, pillars, rear wipers and moved up door handles.
If you look at the rear part of the car, there are some minor changes in it too. It is believed that the company will include some advanced features in the interior of this car along with some changes. However, no major changes will be made to the engine etc. Its engine can definitely be fine tuned.
Although media reports have been saying for a long time that the company can use more strong hybrid petrol in this car. It is expected that a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine can be used in this. At the same time, it is also believed that this car will be offered with the existing 1.2-litre VVT petrol (82 Bhp and 113 Nm) and 1.2-litre DualJet petrol (89 Bhp and 113 Nm).
At present, the company is testing this car, and no information has been shared about the launch dates of this car. But it is believed that this car can be offered for sale in the coming months. After the new updates, the price of this car may increase marginally.
