Japanese car maker Nissan India launched its sub-compact SUV Nissan Magnite in December last year. Due to this SUV, there has been a significant increase in the sales of the company. The company said that in July 2021, the company’s 4,259 passenger vehicles have been sold. Nissan claims that this is the company’s highest sales in the domestic market in the last three years, which has been made possible due to the Magnite.
Not only this, Nissan India has registered a growth of 443% in sales as compared to July 2020. In July last year, only 784 units of the company were sold. Not only domestic sales, Nissan India’s export numbers have also increased in July 2021. In July, the company shipped out a total of 3,897 units, which is 64 per cent more than in July 2020.

Nissan Magnite did wonders
The Magnite compact SUV has been the biggest contributor to Nissan India’s domestic sales. The company claims that more than 20,000 units of this compact SUV have been sold since its launch. The car price ranges from Rs 5.59 lakh to Rs 9.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It comes only in petrol engine option. The SUV is powered by 1.0-litre petrol (72PS/96Nm) and 1.0-litre turbo petrol (100PS/160Nm) engines. The car gets 5 speed manual and 5 speed CVT transmission options.

Cheapest Maintenance & [email protected] Convenience
The company claims that the Nissan Magnite offers the cheapest maintenance in its segment at 29 paise/km (for 50,000 km). The company is offering a 2-year (50,000 km) warranty on the car, which can be extended up to 5 years (100,000 km). The company has also launched ‘Pick-up and Drop-off’ facility.
