TVS Motor Company has recently raised the prices of its popular bikes Apache RTR 160 and RTR 180 again. After the price increase, now the starting price of Apache RTR 160 has gone up to Rs 1,03,365 (drum brake base variant). Earlier this variant was priced at Rs 1,02,070. Similarly, the disc brake variant of the bike has been priced at Rs 1,06,365, which was earlier Rs 1,05,070.
Apache RTR 180 New Price
Speaking of the 180 cc Apache RTR 180, this bike comes in only one variant. After the change in the price, its price has now gone up to Rs 1,09,565. Earlier the price of this bike used to be Rs 1,08,270. Let us know that all these prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. If seen, the prices of both the bikes have been increased by Rs 1,295.

This is not the first time the company has increased the price of both these BS6 models. Earlier, in August last year, the price of both bikes was increased by Rs 1,050. Also, a few months ago (June 2020) the prices of Apache RTR 180 and RTR 160 were raised by Rs 2,500 and Rs 2,000 respectively. Let us know that apart from TVS, Hero, Bajaj and other companies have also increased the price of their vehicles after April 1.

Engine capacity of both bikes
Apart from the reshuffle in the price of both the bikes, there has been no change in the features or the engine. The TVS Apache RTR 180 bike has a 177.4 cc single cylinder, oil cooled engine, which generates 16.3 hp power and 15.5 Nm torque. Similarly, the TVS Apache RTR 160 uses a 4 cylinder engine with a single cylinder of 159.7cc capacity, which generates 15.1 hp power and 13.9Nm torque.
