In early 2020, two of the country’s leading automakers TVS Motors and Bajaj Auto entered the electric vehicle segment. Both companies launched their only electric scooters iQube and Chetak. But in terms of sales, TVS iCube has gone fast and achieved another new breakthrough. The company has so far sold a total of 1,110 units of this scooter.
TVS iQube has outperformed Bajaj Chetak in terms of sales in the past March. 355 units of iCube have been sold in March, while only 90 units of Bajaj Chetak have been sold. It is to be noted here that recently Bajaj Auto had redeemed Chetak’s booking and the booking was discontinued within 48 hours due to alleged heavy demand.
