Volvo Car India has launched the XC90, expanding its range of SUVs in India. The price of this latest SUV of the company is 89.9 lakhs (ex-showroom). The XC90 is a mild-hybrid SUV. In this, the company is offering a 48V electric motor with a 2.0-liter petrol engine. The SUV gets 296bhp power and 420Nm torque.

Equipped with 8-speed automatic transmission
The all-wheel drive XC90 SUV comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The SUV has a long list of hi-tech features. To keep the air inside the vehicle pure, it has been given an advanced air-purifier. Heated seats have been provided with massage function for the comfort of front-passengers.

19-speaker stereo system and vertical touchscreen infotainment system
For strong sound quality, the SUV has been given a 19-speaker stereo system from Bowers & Wilkrins. The gearknob of the SUV is of crystal. At the same time, the vertical touchscreen infotainment system in the dashboard makes the interior quite premium.

SUV has many great features for safety
Volvo has also given many important features for safety in this new SUV. In this, you will get to see features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, 360-degree Camera, Front and Rear Collision Mitigation Support, Blind Spot Information with Cross Traffic Alert and Park Assist.

Mercedes, BMW and Range Rover will compete
The XC90 is offered in four color options – Onyx Black, Denim Blue, Pine Gray and White Pearl. The company’s SUV will compete with Mercedes-Benz GLS, BMW X7 and Range Rover Velar, which has already strengthened its hold in the market.
