Xiaomi is set to launch its new handset Mi 10i 5G in India tomorrow. The device will be the latest phone from the company’s Mi 10 series. With this, it is the first phone of a Chinese company to visit India in 2021. Teasers so far have revealed that the phone will be launched with upper-mid-range specifications such as Snapdragon 750G chipset and brand new 108 megapixel camera sensor.
Teasers of the Mi 10i 5G have been revealed to have a circular camera module on the rear of the phone. The phone will be launched in Atlantic Blue and Pacific Sunrise Color Variants. Manu Kumar Jain, Managing Director of Xiaomi India has also informed that i in Me 10i 5G means India. The launch event of the phone will start at 12 noon.

Mi 10i 5G: Possible specifications
The Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G was recently spotted on the benchmarking website Geekbench with the model number M2007J17I. The listing revealed that the device was reported to have 8GB of RAM and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset. The phone scored 652 in single-core and 2004 in multi-core. The handset is expected to come with Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 skin.
According to reports, the Mi 10 i 5G smartphone may be a rebranded variant of the company’s Mi 10 Lite global version. This phone can have a 120Hz refresh rate with a 6.67-inch full HD + LCD display, a 16 megapixel front camera, 3320 watts fast charging with a 4820mAh battery. Apart from this, Manu Kumar Jain has indicated by tweeting that the phone can be launched for less than 30 thousand rupees.
OnePlus band coming to India to compete with Me band, price and features leaked before launch
With the Snapdragon 750G processor, it is expected that the camera and 5G support will be the most important feature of the phone. Looking at the price, there are indications that the Mi 10i 5G will compete with the already existing OnePlus Nord, Samsung Galaxy M51 and Google Pixel 4A.
