
India is included in the world’s largest smartphone markets, and a recent study has shown that which brands of Indian users like to buy. Chinese brands are at the top positions and Xiaomi holds the largest market share among them. In the third quarter of this year too, Xiaomi sold the most number of smartphones and about 12 million smartphones were sold between August and October. The data related to the smartphone market has been shared by Canalys.
Xiaomi has a market share of 26.1 percent in the July-October quarter, up 1.1 percent from the previous year. Apart from this, the second position remains the South Korean smartphone company Samsung, which sold about 10 million devices during this period and captured 20.4 percent market share. However, the company’s market share has decreased by -0.2 percent over the previous year.

Highest growth of Reality
Vivo has also joined the top-3 smartphone brands, and in the third quarter this year, the company captured 17.6 percent market share with sales of about 8.8 million devices. Apart from this, Reality was at the fourth position, whose market share has increased to 17.4 percent as against 15.3 percent last year. The company grew about 23 percent, which is the highest among the brands in the market.

Increased Apple iPhones Sale
Oppo held the fifth position and around 61 lakh smartphones were delivered by the company during this period. Oppo’s market share was around 12.1 percent. In this way, only five smartphone manufacturers control about 93.6 percent of the Indian market. The special thing is that the demand for Apple iPhones is also increasing in India. Apple sold around 8 lakh iPhones in India in the quarter. The California company has the advantage of promotional offers and opening of online stores in India.
