New Delhi. Bollywood celebrity Mira Kapoor says she turned to yoga because she realized that yoga helps her listen to her body and makes her feel connected to herself.
Kapoor, who is also a participant in ‘Sarva’, told IANSlife as a yoga enthusiast, My yoga journey started after becoming a mother. It helped me in ways that made me realize that yoga is more than just weight loss. It helped me to reinvent myself, become flexible and more aware.
Kapoor is part of the yoga-based wellness brand ‘Achiev’, a collaborative platform where various celebrity yoga enthusiasts join hands with the brand to create goal-based workshops that aim to achieve sustainable fitness results in an engaging, exhilarating and interactive manner.
Collaborating with Serv on ‘Achieve’, sharing tips and tricks that have worked for me with a larger audience is an opportunity I want to make the most of. We have solutions for people like you and me. Real problems with real bodies and real solutions.
Kapoor said, “Post pregnancy, my back pain (which everyone said will go away after my delivery), never really left me. I tried all kinds of treatments and routines. I realized what I needed to ‘be healthy, feel healthy’ from within was more than just losing weight for me, and I decided to turn to yoga.
Yoga cured my chronic back pain, solved my stomach issues and also helped in regulating my hormones. Yoga has worked wonders for me, so I would recommend everyone to incorporate yoga into their daily routine.
She recently posted glimpses of a yoga session with her mother and grandmother. When asked about her yoga practices, she says, I think my first lesson is that women of all ages should continue to practice yoga. The intensity can vary but the important thing is to be consistent. This is my biggest achievement.
There is a renewed interest in people wanting to stay healthy and fit, says Sarvesh Shashi, founder of Sarva. The opportunity to train with celebrities in their tried-and-tested methods of fitness is an especially unique motivation for those looking forward to it. Push yourself to start back on your fitness journey or even motivate yourself to do more for your health. This is where we aim to make a positive impact through ‘Achieve’. We’ve collaborated with celebrities who have harnessed the power of yoga to transform them. (IANS)
